" I'm talking even beyond Europe. You ought to travel more and see how people get screwed around by businesses and exchange rates. You lack perspective and you live in the UK and don't know about the jab on potatoes and peas? You sir are a disappointment to all pomps. "
Wow it NEVER ceases to amaze me how people completely FAIL to miss the point of the post that was written in the first place.
I wasnt commenting on the rest of the world for a REASON. of course there are places in the rest of the world and even Europe that have high prices for games. The origional statement was that Ryan was under the impression that games in EUROPE were as expensive as a bin bag of cocane.
My PONT was that the statement was clearly incorrect as I can state from personal experience that it is not the case in the UK (which happens to be part of Europe.)
I was pointing out that the guys on the site often make sweeping generalisations about large regions of the world like Europe which include many different countries and that doing so is simply innacurate. If the US was constantly lumped together in sweeping statements with Canada and Mexico, I am sure that those nations would have plenty to say on the subject.
If there are any other parts of the post that you found difficult to understand please let me know and I will try and make things clearer for you.
Oh and the peas and potato thing really... not familliar with it. Which is odd as I have heard plenty of other jokes having lived in the US and my wife being American... she hasnt heard that one either. sorry cant help there.
"
Then he meant: "MOST of Europe". Big whoop. I don't mind that.
