There's some awful critics in movies and there's some awful critics in games. Conversely, there's some great critics in movies and some great critics in games. Now let's all stop paying attention to review aggregators and live a happy life.

I think its fair to say that things have been better here in the UK. The current government have managed to turn everyone against each other to allow for their swinging cuts to get through while everyone is distracted.
They have turned working people against those people on state benefits by labeling anyone who doesn't work as a scrounger, even though they have made over a million public sectors redundant in the last 3 years. They have turned the private sector workers against almost all public sector workers, it has gotten to the point that I wont tell people I am a civil servant now as we have been branded as lazy bums who get paid vast amounts and have a gold plated pension to look forward too. The truth is most civil servants are on quite low wages and do work very hard but the Tory (re Republican) government want public perception of civil servants (and people on benifits) to be very negative so they can sack us in droves (and lower benefits) without negative press and minimal public sympathy.
They have turned North against South as the majority of government investment is placed in the South East area (London) while the rest of us watch our public services dwindle and our factories and retail areas close down.
They have even managed to turn people against the disabled as they are making huge cuts to the disability benefit system with people questioning whether even the most disabled should be able to find a job, there have been several sad stories of chronically ill people killing themselves when their benefits were stopped or cut back.
Generally speaking the wealthy are getting much wealthier and the poor are taking real hammering lately, I think there are huge social divisions and its all very sad, but our governments are largely made up of very wealthy or connected families and they are all lining their own pockets at the expense of the tax payer.
Sorry to be a negative nancy, but you did ask :)
The economy is turning around and labour can't stand that ;) Yay :) Makes me so happy. They aren't turning anyone against the disabled you absolute idiot. Please, go away with your incredibly simplistic views on right with politics.
The economy isn't turning around. Perhaps numbers may be looking up in terms of overall money made/spent but that money is not reaching those who need it, the poor are getting fucked from every angle at the moment, the current government is slowly dismantling the NHS and using misdirection to politically get away with some despicable shit.
It's really sad to watch.
Rocky Balboa is the only time I've seen a franchise "return to it's roots." Everything save for 1 and 6 is practically from another planet, so I have no idea how they're going to pull that off. I have doubts.
Clearly, the in depth, honest and heartbreaking documentary about the craziness in the studio behind these games is about to be released to theatres.
I also don't drink. I don't drive either; the only ID I have is an out of date passport, so I'm not the biggest fan of bars. Really I don't mind when and where though, so long as people are there and we get to meet/chat/hang out/reminisce/whatever it is people do. Place/Time less important than the people, I feel for this meet up.
