this is clearly a matter of personal taste, so i can't see how any advice here is going to be of great use to you. i found it highly enjoyable from the start - unlike most who are posting here (including a couple of holier-than-thou assholes like that giant peach guy) - and i went on every side quest i could find. i level maxed well before the end, which i found slightly disappointing, but still had about 75 hours of fun (including the Dead Kel DLC) with the game and plan to get the 2nd DLC as soon as it comes out. i enjoyed the ride, quite frankly, difficult or not. either you will like the experience of the game world or you won't. i can't see trying to tailor your gameplay before even stepping into that world. adjust difficulty and/or amount of side quests you pursue as you go along would be my suggestion. take it for what it's worth.
no thanks. i'd prefer to see a Jeff, Ryan, Vinny, Dave, Drew bombcast, rather than adding in outside parties who have been only marginally entertaining in the things i have seen/heard them in.
i'm unfashionably quoting myself here, but having just followed my own "look him up" advice i found that the best work by my suggestion is not really easily obtainable. His band Camden and their album 'Reel Time Canvas' are amazing, and not very easy to come by these days, apparently. anyway, it's good vocal work. i'll also second anyone who may (or may not) have mentioned Jon Thor Birgisson of Sigur Ros, Justin Vernon of Bon Iver, Thom Yorke of Radiohead, Claudio Sanchez of Coheed & Cambria, Torquil Campbell and Amy Milan of Stars, and Peter Gabriel. and to the bloke who posted Eric Bachmann/Crooked Fingers... Yes! I'm not sure i would call him a great vocalist, but he is my favorite musician ever. cheers.
i like the job that i do but i despise the environment that i have to do it in, specifically some of the people in the organization and the other organizations that we share space with. i chose the second option in the survey because i am not a musician or an astronomer and i would definitely prefer doing either of those to what i do now.
i find the sound mixing of films (or perhaps how the mix is conveyed in a certain theater's setting) to be fairly annoying. i haven't been to a film in a while ( i think Inception was my last), but one of the reasons that i stopped was because the action-y stuff was somewhat overwhelming when compared to the more subtle moments. i don't know if this is a personal thing (i despise loudness, in general) or specific to certain theaters, or more widespread, but it certainly has been a major reason that i have stopped going to see movies.
