If My Hands was sung by some random asian singer as opposed to Leona Lewis, you would not be complaining. I bet you don't even know off hand what the actual meaning of lyrics in the song Kimi Ga Iru Kara really are, you're just japanophiling it up.
Instead of worrying about the one song you'll probably hear once in the opening maybe, and once in the ending credits, you should be caring about the things that matter: Gameplay and Story.

The way you are reacting you'd think My Hands was going to be the Reach out for the Truth of Final Fantasy and you'd have to hear it every battle.
Also haha, I recognize your name from complaining on one of the videos on youtube, kind of funny. Small internets I guess :P

All good tips and I wish i'd read this before I played through the game. I have an alternative to one of your tips though.

In general if you're not gonna pause a lot than try to always stay in control of the mage you've decided will be your healer. Letting the AI control your mage will often result in lost mana.

I just turned off all of HealerMage's non healing abilities in the AI Tactics screen and she did allright on mana, for people who want to focus on controlling their dps rogue or whatever. You can use ai tactics to make your ai healers alot more mana smart. Changing how low people have to get before they heal, which spells they'll use in which situations. Tinkering that stuff can let you have a pretty smart healer without having to micro manage.

Reitterating what he said about archers too, don't do it. They're awful, I tried to make the bard party member(too super non spoiler this) an archer, it did not work well.
If you're a rogue like I was, go Assassination/duelist. Best damage output you'll possibly get out of a rogue, plus some good debuffs that will make your whole party whittle bosses down faster. The survivability you get out of duelist probably makes up for the pets from ranger too, but I can't actually speak from experience on that one.

Even though they were all 3 really boring characters, I kind of hope Kaiden/Ashley/Liara all return because it seems kind of like a cop out to avoid having to write in for the possible romance you had in the last game if they don't.

I think the best option is letting you pick all the descisions you made in the first game. What If I want to make a new character in mass effect 2, who did certain things in the first game, without having to play through the entire first game again?

A quick questionare starting a new game would be good, like (obvious spoilers ahead):

Do you want default story: yes/no
If no
Wrex: Alive/Dead
Rakni: Alive/dead
Kaiden: Alive/Dead/Alive and had sex
Ashley: Alive/Dead/Alive and had sex
Liara: Sex with wierd blue alien yes/no
Colonists on Feros: Alive/dead (assuming the game cares about them)
Council: Alive/dead
Apointed to Council: Udina/Anderson

That would be alot more fun than having to play through the exact same story every time I played Mass effect 2 on a new character.
I'd bank on Bioware not doing this just because they don't want to admit how few things from the first game actually carry over.

As someone who played through mass effect multiple times, I have 2 opinions on the mako.

1) The mako is fine in it's limited interaction with the main story. Going down the tunnel on Ilos(I think), fun. Driving to the ruins to get Liara, fun. Etc.

2)However, the mako was a huge part of the larger problem that makes almost all the side questing in Mass effect one unplayable and mind numbing. Akwardly bumping around on a planet for a couple minutes to get to a room you've seen a dozen times before, to kill guys for a minute than more akward bumbing around in the mako was not fun, at all. I could not do most of the side quests on repeat playthroughs because it was too boring. How they managed to make exploring planets on a dune buggy mind numbingly boring is amazing.

That's what I told you to do in my first post :P

The blood dragon armor just sort of, appeared in my inventory the next time I loaded my game.
No one in my party can actually wear it yet though (strength req) so I'm just sort of lugging it around untill allistair get's his strength high enough.
Only other dlc that I was eligible for was the Shale Dlc, and the shale quest was just, on my map right when I started.

@Ferros:  after you enter the code, on the dlc screne where you entered the codes, you than click download on the items. (the items your codes were eligible for should have a "purchased" beside them after entering code successfully.

Honestly, I got my copy of the game in the mail a couple days ago, it's no where near as hard as everyone on the internet has been acting. I originally voted E on this pole, just because I'd believed what I'd been hearing online. Now, I still think they won't ever do it, but, if they did, I think they'd beat it. It's not that hard a game.
