this was the refinement of all things God of War. everything about it worked so well. it was pure fan service.

this game really makes you take your actions seriously. if a game in this day and age can make you stop and think about killing an enemy character, it has done something awesome.

man oh man was this game intense. its the only game in a long time that i have stayed up all night to try and beat...and failed at doing so. if you have a wii, try this game.

after being 8 years late to the sly cooper party i decided to get these games, and theyre awesome. they are some of the best platformers ive played. the move mini-games are just filler, but who came to sly for the mini-games?

I loved Scott Pilgrim. The comics and the movie were awesome. and this game was a great bridge into that universe. its a throwback to a lot of old school games. good stuff.

this game was pretty darn difficult, but it was rewarding and a ton of fun. it's a puzzler thats satisfying and a good challenge. the art direction was beautiful and creepy as well.

Red Dead is the first truly great western video game. others had tried and come close but had never really nailed all the elements. but if you dont like Grand Theft Auto, do not play this game.

this game barely made my list because of the overly sexed up lead and it was too much like the original DMC (once i got the katana it was basically the same game), but it the constant references and over the top nature puts it higher up in my book. besides, if your worst offence is that youre too much like one of the best 3rd person action games (that you created), then i guess there are worse things to be similar to.
