While the negativity in here seems a little overboard, I honestly can't blame anyone. That QL was like a showcase of what I hope are the games worst aspects.
Dumb human AI, enemies getting stuck in terrain, obtuse level design, glitchy flickering lava, poor lip sync, and worse of all it just looked boring.
Still grabbing this tomorrow, but God damn, that wasn't a very good example to sell it.
When I talk or post about Life is Strange, I often mention the interactions with the game's environments remind me of Gone Home. It's a big reason I loved it so much. I'm curious if this is the case for Graham, or was it something else, e.g. Teenagers.
I was expecting this to be premium only, so I'm surprised and glad to see it. Really enjoy watching these guys play it, even though part of me occasionally wants to take over and check the stuff they miss.
@deerokus: I have trouble understanding how someone could be opposed to a game like this. It's easy to ignore and its type isn't exactly making bank and saturating the market. Games like Life is Strange are so rare I'm shocked and thankful a team took a chance making something like this.

That's one of the many plot holes going on.
It's not actually a plot hole. There is a very good story reason for it and to find out you have to keep playing (watching).
I'm just starting episode 4 and it's been addressed through reading a file in episode 3. Something I could see them missing or glossing over, especially if they're towards the end of the segment and wanting to cut it. Game's similar to Gone Home where reading everything really helps you get the most out of the game, and probably one of the things I like most about it. Anyways, do they go further into it in 4 or 5?
They did a great job with the look, right down to details like that energon pink. Unfortunately, this just doesn't look that fun to play. That said, I don't have the same enthusiasm for these type of action games I did in the 90s. The repetition just wears me down and I get bored. Also, bummed you can't play Decepticons.
It was a loooooong time ago so maybe I'm missing something, but as Jeff pointed out, I don't remember robot form Soundwave being small as a toy or in the cartoon. He was the same size as the other main Decepticons. Who knows, Transformers always had wacky scale inconsistencies in the eighties cartoon.
