My initial goal was to stay faithful to Ashley Williams, until "it" happened. It being Kelly Chambers offering to feed Shepard's Fish. My Shepard knew who he wanted then and there.

It sure would be interesting to see how the doctored screen shots mysteriously ended up in press-kits. Was it a Spy, Ninjas, a Ghost? My guess, we'll never find out.
I'm still on the fence, with "versus" causing me to lean towards the PS3. I realize they have all but set in stone that Versus will be a PS3 exclusive, but what happens when you throw money into the picture, as well as the possible success (sales) on the 360. How many 3rd party "exclusives" go jumping to multiplatform? Not many, yet enough to make one second guess the exclusivity of exclusives.
There's a lot of things absent from XIII that really lowered my anticipation. Dragon Warrior got me in to JRPGs, and through all the JRPGs on the SNES, I've developed tastes for certain elements we see in those classics. Some of those elements seem to be stripped away as this franchise pushes on. Will XIII be everything I wanted in a Final Fantasy? Probably not. However, I do not doubt it will be an enjoyable game. It's just not Final Fantasy the way I want Final Fantasy to be. To think how many years I've spent playing this genre, it's not surprising things have changed to reflect a new generation of gamers. My generation is history.
Anyway, crossing my fingers for getting a great game in "Versus", and still looking forward to playing XIII.
From reports I've read, the cut scenes obviously look better on the PS3 (1080p), but in-game the two will be difficult to differentiate with the naked eye. I'm going by unbiased online reports, as well as reports of those that saw both versions on the "Lightning Bus". I would take all those crispy, crisper statements with a grain of salt. Nothing's set in stone until we get legitimate visual side by side comparisons. Hopefully this is presented to the public before March 9th.

Purchased them with enthusiasm, yet never started them. Something always comes up, be it a new game, work, or social life. Time goes by, then they're more or less forgotten. With this gen of consoles, I no longer purchase games with the same frequency I had during the Playstation/PS2 eras. I choose games that give the strongest indication I will play them through.
