Hello Giant Bomb just a quick question. I have never played a Civ game but I am big into RTS and Turn Based Strategy. I've played Total War, and when I play it I usually auto-resolve all battles, I just find the research, building armies and taking over territories a lot more interesting.
 
So should I get Civilization V? How easy is to get into it? I tried playing IV and there was no tutorials or anything so I had no idea what I was doing. Thanks.

WOOO! Another long Bombcast according to Ryan's update.

 So having listened to last weeks bombcast and the extensive discussion they had about Dead Rising made me realize that Dead Rising is a CRAZY game. And I don't mean in they way you kill zombies, but in the core concepts like the RPG heavy mechanics, the fact that your level carries over, and how deliberate the movement and attack animations are.
 
I personally love Dead Rising and all it's crazy concepts.  I'm just wondering what you guys think about Dead Rising? Why do you love it? Why do hate it? .
 
 
EDIT: Also lots of people are complaining about the save system. What was wrong with it? It seemed like any other RPG save spot system.

Agreed! MGS2 is definitely my favorite in the series. And I completely agree with what you said about it being multi-layered, took me a good 5 playthroughs to understand it all.

FINALLY the LBP clones start appearing. Sounds pretty meh to me.

Maybe you should do all your qualifying matches so you get in the proper tier and play with ppl of the same level. Also google replays and strategies.  If you google "stracraft 2 opener" you'll get some basic opening builds for each race, I found them very useful. Also what you could do is do the basic challenges and in there on the left hand side there will be a button that says "Counter" It gives you an overview of what unit is strong and weak against what. Other than that just keep at it. Hope this helped.
