I thought the same thing when I first played. "Wait, where's my armor? Where are all my weapons? Where's my old crew?" I was pretty disappointed.
 
Now it's my favorite game. Ever. And I really, really mean that.

" And yeah, love them to pieces. Its sad to see them go, but I'd prefer it this way. If Murphy doesn't want to do it anymore, he shouldn't have to. They've made 3 amazing albums. I wouldn't want them to go and tarnish their legacy by making a bunch of not as good/shit albums a la Oasis, REM etc etc.

You can just call it "that Uwe Boll movie."  Referring to it as terrible is redundant.

I honestly considered leaving my character in front of the timer for 2 days to see what happened. 
 
I was also upset by the lack of choices, but I can live with it.

If you're playing on a console, there's no way to make the combat similar to Origins. 
 
Since, ya know, they completely neglected to implement the auto-attack that they promised.
