I'm coming around to mustard. Used to hate it but normal ass Heinz or regular mustard I'd much prefer not to eat.
Gimme a honey mustard on a turkey/chicken sandwich or better yet, a spicy brown mustard on an authentic Reuben sando from a legitimate Jewish deli & I'm in heaven.
I remember seeing the SNES game at my local rental place. It looked kinda dumb. Was it in any way good?
I think I have more nostalgia for it because it's something I grew up with, not necessarily because it was a great game. It was a totally serviceable platformer with a crude gimmick but I think Earthworm Jim is tops for this era.
The obvious ones were already mentioned in this thread but King of the Monsters and Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee (fucking horrible title) are worth a look. The former's a Neo-Geo (and Nick Arcade) staple, the latter was a dumb Godzilla game, emphasis on dumb.
Alex is fantastic when you want that snark (it's like the long-lost AV Club Games Head Editor we never had) but I'm always incredibly drawn to Patrick's writing. Love him or hate him, he's got an undeniable voice.
