@mrbubbles: I KNOW RIGHT! I just went to post the same thing! I squeezed a bunch of deathmatch hours out of the first game back in college...

Honestly, I liked Dust enough to give Dean a shot no matter what his next project was, but this looks super fun. I love the PS1-era aesthetic and the dumb names and dialogue are definitely in my wheelhouse. Looking forward to giving this a shot.

Bought this on PSN the other day primarily for my son to mess around with. Seems pretty great, but as you can see in the QL, it gets really quirky with certain controls just not responding occasionally, or tools not working right. So far I've found that getting into your spaceship and then jumping back out can often remedy some of these issues, but I've also had to quit out and reload the game a couple of times.

So yeah, very neat and lots of potential to mess around in a Minecrafty way once you're through the tutorial areas, but there is definitely some janky stuff to be aware of.

Remember when the "PAX Pox" was everyone's biggest fear about attending? Now they all have to worry about sustaining serious, career-ending injuries apparently!

I'm so torn about this game. The characters and world look cool and I'd like to see where the story goes, but the gameplay looks super clunky at times. Not that it matters right now, I don't have a PS4 yet.

I absolutely loved the first game, but I would be lying if I said that it didn't take a couple hours to get used to the controls/powers. Luckily the style and charm of the game hooked me enough to stick with it.

Even once you're more comfortable with the game itself, there are going to be moments where the camera doesn't do exactly what you want it to, or the action gets hectic and it's hard to track some enemies. But, at least in the first game, it never bothered me much. It's momentary and infrequent.

And again, as some have said, upgrading your abilities and using your gravity powers to get around is really where the game is at, and that could have been shown better in this QL, I think.

I like the Warmastered and Deathinitive subtitles, they are dumb, but in a fun way.

My thoughts exactly. They are just as joyfully dumb as the games themselves.

Also, cart based? I didn't eyeball a disc-slot on there, I sure as hell don't want it inside the screen-device. Exciting times (you know, except for all games being known quantities)

There's a shot of someone inserting an SD card, so I'm guessing that's the physical medium for games. Interested to see what the internal memory is going to be for digital purchases, though.

Also, maybe just me, but the Zelda footage they showed near the start, where the guy is playing it as a handheld, looked noticeably choppy... I'm wondering if the dock will be offering more than just a way to charge and connect the Switch to your TV. If so, it's going to be a little disappointing if there are some games that just don't run well when you're undocked.

Really glad to see that the developers were able to salvage this one. I got very excited for it based on the art style and early video stuff I saw on it, and was super disappointed to see all the feedback on how rough it was to play. Definitely going to pick this up.

Not gonna lie, having the wide camera positioned right where Jason sits gets really disconcerting when the rest of the guys are addressing Jason himself, because it looks like they're all staring at the camera, hence feeling like they are staring at ME.

Don't stare at me, guys. It's rude.
