And this price increase comes with a host a new features and improvements to live that more than justify the cost . . . .right?

This is why its nice to be your own boss. Imagine sending a guy to preview one of the hottest games of the season and he returns slightly confused, muttering things about not being able to remember. :) Thankfully I have a great appreciation for honest. I prefer this than a half assed preview and it reaffirms my trust in the site. Jeff have you considered investing in a dictaphone? Might be useful, faster than writing. Plus it looks cool.

I've played a few free-to-play games. Very few have i actually enjoyed and only one (League of Ledgends) did I ever pay for anything. I guess I always have this uneasy feeling that the game has been designed in such a way as to extract money from me. Like in a pay to play MMO, if they wanted I could level from 1 to what ever the lvl cap is in seconds, but they have to strike a balance between it just being fun enough to play while keeping me there long enough to get money out of me. I never feel they have my enjoyment as there first priority, as it would be with a retail game.

I've allot of respect for you guys. It really does seem like your doing things your way, living the dream. Through your open nature and casual podcast I've come to understand each of the staff that bit more, and from that each review they write has more value. Any advertising has always been tasteful, and the full site skins have looked very interesting. Keep doing what you do, because its all so god damn awesome.

I cant really see the comparison there. I know their both games with a western theme but one is a team based multiplayer FPS, the other a 3rd person shooter/action/adventure . . . thing. They kind of scratch two different itches. Having played plenty of the PC version of LnG I can recommend it, and its low price point is an added plus. Of course I say this while not being very well informed as to what the multiplayer of RDR will be like, or if it even exists, i'm in the dark here. I have LnG and intend to pick up RDR too.

I picked it up cheap on PC and had an OK time with it. What I'd love to see is take the combat from that game and apply it to oblivion. I thought they did a great job creating interesting styles of combat, especially liked the staffs. Where as in oblivion I felt i was just waving a sword around, with no sense of weight or contact.

Looks solid for something coming out Fall 2010. All the gameplay elements seems entertaining and polished. I'll keep my eye on it.

Nicely spotted, didn't notice that myself. As far as I know she's not hidden anywhere apart from as you said her gear in the glass case. I'd say its just a nicely little thing thrown in for batman fans.

I built my own PC and I don't have much technical knowledge, not too tough once it all goes well. But I'm out of college now, and if i was in your position I'd be getting a PC prebuilt with a nice warranty. When the pressure is on and you've got a load of work to be done you'll want to be able to trust your PC, especially if your course is PC intensive such as Architecture or 3D design. My advice is to buy from a builder who uses parts you can possibly use in your own build in the future, dell cases are usually custom and of no use, same with their mother boards. Don't hold off buying your PC either, their is always a new processor or graphics card just around the corner. I'm using a mid range 8800 with a 2.13 dual core, I'd have to agree that games are still playing catch up with the tech, as my old junk is still doing ok performance wise. Oh and best of luck with college.
