Here in South Africa it all depends on which sector which level and where in the country.

If you live in one of the major cities (Cape Town, Johannesburg Pretoria) and you work in a store the highest paid level would be an assistant manager which gets $3 an hour. If you were to take that to an average monthly wage: $480. My girlfriend was paying rent of about $375 a month. luckily both of us are nowhere near minimum wage.

Our combined income is now at about $4000 a month after taxes its $3500 a month which isn't bad at all.

I'm Verrayne a 24 year old Economist from South Africa. I love the Final Fantasy Franchise. My favourite being VIII, I would want an HD remake of it so bad I would give up body parts for it. I started working this year and as such with more disposable income I have started to buy more consoles and games instead of being locked in to steam with 2 great sales a year. My goal is to play the best RPG's on all platforms.
