Depends, if preset characters I choose the cooler and or cuter looking one, which although is usually cool=guy cute=girl there a plenty of switch overs.
Examples, Pokemon Emerald: Boy looks cool, girl looks cute, so it's an even mix. Gunstar Super Heroes: Blue(guy) looks lame, Red(girl) looks badass, so I always play Red. Soul Nomad and the World Eaters: Guy looks average, Girl looks like a tomboy, I choose the guy.
When you get a custom character my choice usually goes deeper depending on the situation of the game and the customization options allowed, if the character's gender effects story options, etc, making it impossible to determine what I'll prefer to play as. In those situations I usually end up starting the game as one gender, play through the intro or whatever, and try the other, see which fits the games setting better, and then customize them accordingly.
Hell no, I play Fallout 3 on easy just because it doesn't feel right on other modes, not because of it actual being difficult but because I can't stand to see a guy take 3 shotgun shells to the face and not die.
A human should take human like damage and go from scale from there with other creatures, imo.
Yes, a lot of things actually. Janky, contrived, instanced, what[pause]ever, durgers, dude for pronouns(used to anyway, now use it for females as well)... can't think of any more.
