First Bungie left, now Peter Molyneux left, Epic is thinking of making a PC exclusive. Is it just me or is something clearly wrong with there way of business if everyone is leaving.
seriously, wasnt the patch 280mb+? I played both 2 and 3 pre-patch for at least a couple of hours and post-patch I dont think there was ANY noticeable difference *sigh
I beat SH2 just fine. There was some framerate dips here and there; mostly when you are outside. A few sound hitches where you would hear an enemy swing or a person speak and then it would do the animation several seconds later.
Yes, it's pretty dumb that an old game has these problems, but it was perfectly playable and enjoyable imo.
P.S.... I wouldn't count on another patch.
edit: Well I've started SH3. It seems to be much worse on the framerate. Just in the mall areas with not much going on it's almost in slow-mo. Pretty crappy. I'll play it regardless tho.
I'll get it when it's cheaper and/if they patch it.
Why would they patch it. Consider alot of games with frame rate were they patched? Like mass effect? The frame rate is not that bad i installed it on my 360 studdering went down and load times.
I for one being fan of old silent hills thought this was best in series since silent hill 2. The real problem is people need to stop expecting silent hill 2. Downpour is a great modernized silent hill games have changed and wont go back to silent hill 2. They nailed the atmosphere and all my only issue combat is still not that great.
I liked it but i honestly think its over rated. The story was short and had little story you could watched ending and that was 90% of story 95% of game is combat.
Co-op is good but overall unless you have 4 friends its a pass.
