Definitively going to get it for the PC. A mouse and keyboard are superior to a game pad in these kind of games.
I'm going to play through the single player, and some of the special ops missions just to get a feel of the game, and the weapons. Then i'll probably play the multiplayer for a few months, until Mass Effect 2 comes out.
