My internet never goes down so I don't really care all that much. On a good note it means I won't need that dam disc in the system to play a game anymore.

I never understand comments like this. If the provider's network (or any hop along the way) fails or gets nailed with a DDoS and you can't reach it... Then it really doesn't matter if your internet is up or not.

The only thing that annoyed me was how they started off saying they'd have a spoilercast and didn't want to talk about in this podcast because they'd be tiptoeing around all the potential spoilers... Then went on for a good while tiptoeing around spoilers.

Damn you John Vignocchi!!! Seriously though it is a shame Disney isn't going to even attempt to bring the LucasArts name back to its former glory.

I pick up my PC and drive to work where I can mooch from the generators and diesel delivery services..

Edit: Oh right besides gloating, sorry. I'm with @rihanna and LTTP. If I were to finish that and still have no power then fuck it I'll just go walk around and let nature have her way with me.

People don't like Phil Fish because he's French Canadian. They don't mince words and aren't afraid to tell you what they really think.

It's why I love him, personally.

I suppose this could be it for me actually. He certainly doesn't hold back and in my admittedly limited knowledge of him I had built an idea of some brash, arrogant jackass. I never acted on that idea through bullshit forum posts or anything silly but I didn't hold him in a very high regard personally. All I had to go on was Indie Game: The Movie and whatever showed up on the few sites I follow. Seeing him interact with his industry peers and with the GB people was certainly eye opening and I was quite happy to have my eyes opened.

This steam lacked a ton of the industry tension and stress of E3. I could see future GDC streams putting the Giant Bomb E3 extravaganza to shame.

It's an acronym. Who the fuck says "Gooey"

Computer people. SATA is Sa-Tuh. SCSI is Scuzzy.

In computing,[1]graphical user interface (GUI, pronounced 'gooey') [2] is a type of user interface that allows users to interact with electronic devices using images rather than text commands.

Ahem:

Almost a full day was devoted to agreeing to name the standard "Small Computer System Interface," which Boucher intended to be pronounced "sexy", but ENDL's[6] Dal Allan pronounced the new acronym as "scuzzy" and that stuck.

I just like to throw that out there when SCSI comes up. All you G-U-I people are crazy two finger typists with coffee mugs sitting in your optical drive trays, by the way.

X3: Terran Conflict. Nothing like cruising around nice quiet space until I can find a crazy AI capital ship battle to spectate. If not I can always go terrorize some alien races on my own.

I haven't been to GameSpot in years but I like Chris Waters after seeing him on Giant Bomb a few times. Maxwell is a bit too.. enthusiastic? For my taste but that's fine. So far I think the new release shows have been pretty good and I'm all for adding live content.

I know what it's like to work with basically a skeleton crew. I don't care how important you are, coming into work when you're legitimately sick is stupid. Work from home if you can, even better actually rest and come back in healthy. Instead of having Ryan out sick for a few days now the entire office is working sick AND Jeff is out sick for at least a couple days.

Finally.. I'm cool with Giant Bomb and GB. You can keep your "Gbomb" though.
