I actually have a question about NG+ too, sort of unrelated but since the topic is called NG+ question I may as well ask. What happens if you go in the stargate in NG+? I accidentally went into the stargate room and I can't exit through the door (glitch?). If I go through the stargate will I just see the ending again then start another NG+?

I keep saving the dragon bones and scales in hopes that I will sell them for 500 or whatever they're supposed to be worth but every trader I've been to so far won't offer me more than 180 or so. But they weigh a lot so I want to get rid of them. Has anybody found a shop or a trader that will buy them for full price?

I have to say, I'm kind of interested in Arkham City, but I never played Arkham Asylum. Does anyone think that I should play Arkham Asylum first or will I just be able to jump in to City?

Arkham Asylum is DEFINITELY worth playing, if not before, certainly after. You should play this game for sure! If you don't have it, buy Arkham City from Walmart if you haven't made any preorders yet because you get a free copy of Arkham Asylum with purchase of Arkham City.

Oh really? That sounds like a good deal. Is it possible to do that online? I was just on the Walmart website and the preorder incentive looked to be a $10 eGift card...

It sold out online because you could get the 10$ bonus AND Arkham Asylum... that was a GREAT deal, i wanted to get that but it sold out before I could preorder lol

If you look on the "Local ad" for Walmart website or the actual physical ad, on the first page there is the Buy Arkham City and get Arkham Asylum GOTY edition free. It's sold out online, but there should be some available in stores, but its a first come first serve basis and they are selling them 12:01 midnight Oct 18.

Damn. Wish I had known about that earlier. Well I'll probably just end up getting Arkham City this week and buy Asylum used sometime after I finish it. Thanks for the help!

Meaning that by creating a soul he knows will end up in hell, he has made it impossible for them to really choose heaven or hell.  He made the choice for them at creation.

I'm having a little trouble understanding how you've come to this conclusion.

I can't speak for anyone else and I could totally be wrong, but I believe that the idea is that God knows the choices that people will make, but doesn't actually make the choices for them.  It seems that when people use the term "free will", all they are saying is that God does not directly influence or tamper with their decisions.  It makes sense because someone knowing what you are going to do, isn't the same as someone controlling you.  As long as you are consciously making a decision, then you have free will, regardless of whether someone knew what decision you would make.
If he knew from the beginning... Alright, so if he looks at a specific person as they're being born, and he sees their entire life path, in which they fuck up a bunch and end up going to hell. Realizing the fact that God knows that from the beginning, isn't that kind of a dick move to let that person live their life when the only possible outcome is them going to hell at the end, because their choices are mapped out in front of them? If God can see the path that a life is going to take from the beginning, yet he has no control over that path, then who decides the path in the first place if not God? I'm just sort of  a passing pedestrian on this conversation, and I don't intend on posting any comments more than this one, but take a step back and realize that you are discussing the intricate details (which, even if it were true, there is no way of knowing such minutiae) of a man who lives in the sky, or in another dimension, or wherever the fuck the uneducated middle eastern bronze age humans came up with. You're talking about a made up man who doesn't exist, and more people should know that in this age of technological and educational enlightenment where people are capable creating their own thoughts and using logical reasoning to decide their own purpose for living, and the Church no longer needs to use religion to compel depressed medieval peasants to work hard by convincing them if they do so they're is magical happiness at the end of the tunnel. Seriously think about it.

It baffles me how anyone can take religion or even "God" seriously while we live in a completely modern age. There is no reason other than sheer superstition and laziness that people still hold onto belief systems our ancestors cultivated in the BRONZE AGE. There is so much fact out there that is much more exciting and powerful than the silly idea that an all encompassing deity reads our minds and controls our destiny.

This. Thank you. It's like believing in Santa Claus... I really can't see how people do it. You have made some great insightful comments.

And me personally? Never worshiped, never will.

After seeing the trailer for Jack and Jill, I'm going to go with Adam Sandler.

Does anyone else think that it's odd that the right stick is above the buttons? Seems like it will be uncomfortable.

Honestly I'm just kind of sick of it. Since episode two, they've put out two Portal games (technically only one, but still), two Left 4 Dead games, updated/supported Team Fortress 2 with new content, and yet not another damn Half-Life game for four years. I'm sure when the game is finally released it will be amazing, but I think Valve needs to sort out their priorities and make a sequel sooner than in four years. Sorry, angry rant.
Please. Let me paraphrase. "I'm super bummed that instead of doing the thing everyone likes, they're doing five DIFFERENT things that everyone likes. Man, fuck them, right?"
Exactly! Finally someone gets it!
