I actually do own this game. In fact, I paid 25$ for this games five years after it came out, and that's because I think this game has some novelty since we really haven't seen anything like it before. Why? Well, Auto Modellista is a racing using cell-shaded graphics made by... Wait for it... CAPCOM!
Have Capcom ever made another racing game? I don't think so, although there might be a good reason for it. I'll be honest, Auto Modellista isn't really a good game. It doesn't know if it wants to be a simulation, or an arcade racing game, and you can use this at your advantage by crashing the right way into the wall. Although, when I raced on Suzuka circuit, it played pretty well since you actually have to drive correctly, but there's a catch: Suzuka circuit is the ONLY circuit that isn't urban or an oval. So yeah... the game shined for me just on one track... Bummer.
