If I read that right, did he basically just quit without securing some other type of job first? So now he will be taking care of a kid with no job? His wife may work perhaps.

I think it's easier and also the topics he brings up as "being from Chicago" aren't strictly restricted to Chicago. I actually live near Arlington Heights and of course nobody will know the name of a suburb in Illinois so you just say Chicago. I'm glad I don't live in Chicago to be fair.

Yeah Portillo's is good. I went to Al's Beef a few months ago and didn't find the appeal. Not a fan of having to stand up while eating, either.

Getting on the Red line or any line at any time is a terrible ordeal, Chicago trains are gross. Also Metra trains are always late and prone to failure.
