Irish resident here.... No its not the same as the UK

Anyway i havent bought anything from them in years, for a long time now their prices compared to Gamestop and HMV have always been at least 5-10 euro more expensive. They also just were never bothered introducing a proper online store for Ireland. If i wanted to buy a game from their site i had to do it through the UK site with no choice to change the price into euros and since their delivery address form did not accept an irish address properly you were always left wondering if you would ever get your game not too mention when you would get it since everything was shipped directly from the UK. Gamestop however have a dedicated irish online site which negates all of the problems mentioned above AND an irish depot where all the games are shipped from

Lol, pedo on the left.

And what are they complaining about? Sounds like they were paid what they were owed, but they're feeling grumpy that they weren't given more?

Ya. It's not like they lost their jobs and got none of the entitlements others are getting or anything.

I will say, though, sitting in front of a closed store doesn't seem like that really means that much. It's already out of business so you're not preventing anything and kind of making any statement seem fairly moot. That seems kind of strange.

They are sitting in the stores and refusing to hand over the keys and stock to the administrators. Also the stock has been ordered to be shipped back to the UK which sounds suspiciously like the upper managment are trying to get as many assets out of the country as possible so they dont have to pay their Irish creditors

A little confused, I suppose. How is what Jeff disclosed about Gerstmanngate different from what has been more or less assumed the whole time?

The only thing that seems new is that management was already mad about a previous review that ruffled feathers before K&L came along.

Well everyone always assumed that it was a direct result of his Kane and Lynch review but he explained it that it was more the managements inexperience with dealing with an editorial staff plus the threats of losing ad money which yes was to do with the review but it was not a direct result

@VinLieger: Good thing the forums are going to be kept separate then.

True and maybe GB can be a positive force if some of them migrate here and learn how to interact in a constructive way

Dude thats harsh lol. I see nothing wrong with Gamespot.

Plus if the Giantbomb staff thinks its fine, then I'm ok with it.

Not really, even in the old days when the guys were there the community was pretty atrocious, think 12 year old MW fans but in text form, constructive discussions on the boards just couldnt happen in that enviornment and from what im told not much has changed in fact it may even have gotten worse
