@stafax:  You do know thay in hard mode the flashing counter symbols won't appear and you'll have to tell based on the attack animations (as all good 3rd person actions games do?) and that as it's the tutorial I'm pretty sure you'll be facing much tougher enemies (both in terms of physical fights and their awareness of what's going on around them)?

Wait for reviews to see if your fears are well-founded but until then, it is only the tutorial after all

@NovaXz:

I wish companies would learn from their mistakes like Telltale did too - most reviews say that every single episode is better than the last, minus the odd misstep or two. It's good to have a developer listen so openly to feedback like that.

@SolidestChimp:

I hear they're aiming to have them both out by the end of the year - so a few months down the line I guess (perhaps pre-Christmas?)

@lemon360:

It may be 1600 points but for the amount of content you're getting, that's a bargain.

Penny Arcade Adventures: One the Rainslick Precipice of Darkness: Episode One (a longer name than Peter Jackson's King Kong the Official Game of the Movie? Wow) sold for that price and that was just one Episode, this is SIX..

I'm new to this too and just like you guys was unexpectidly excited at the prospect of SFIV (woke up extra early to get to the store on launch day at 9:00am). But unlike you guys, I'm just not enjoying it that much.

I'm completely new to fighting games and have to say that SF IV is the LEAST accessible game I've ever played. Nowhere in the manual does it explain what 'charge' written over two directions means nor does it demonstrate the timing you need to cancel a move with a ghost or on screen overlay as I was expecting of the tutorial mode (is that so much to ask? The ghost system worked brilliantly for Mirror's Edge). Case in point: I can't do Sagat's Fake Kick at all and all that requires is a rapid double tap of the circle (or B) button...

All the reviewers have played SFII back in the day. They come into this entry with all the terminology and past know how, I don't. Without any sort of explanation, I'm forced to look for online guides and that's a knock against the game and it's ability to draw me in.

I know that it's all down to practice, practice and more practice, but they really could have made things easier.

Same - Can't pull off any of the moves when I need them. I'm much better now than I was before but that isn't saying much. Can beat most characters on medium (but can't beat my rival and/or Seth in arcade mode).

It's full price in Europe and has been since launch... Don't complain. I would have bought it for $40 let alone $25.... It's still $80 here.

What do you think I've spent most of the day doing to this one?

Well.... at least people make a point of upping their grammar skills here. Although the time difference would have quite an impact. I guess few good responses are better than lots of useless ones just for the sake of people increasing their post count (for site benefits and the like - GT, here's looking at you kid). Hopefully the site'll not only increase in membership numbers but also international diversity too.
