Now that I'm home, looking at my library, I see many more games that fall under this category: Kirby's Epic Yarn, Prince of Persia Warrior Within and The Two Thrones (although I enjoyed The Sands of Time), Devil May Cry 2 and 3 (although I enjoyed the first), Final Fantasy XII (the first Final Fantasy game I disliked, although I haven't played XI or XIII), and Ratchet Deadlocked (didn't have the same magic as the first three).

I also dislike GTAIV, RDR, Oblivion, and every COD since MW.  I'm surprised only one other person mentioned FFXII.  I disliked almost everything about that game (and still completed everything, including defeating Yiazmat).

I would love to hear more of what you disliked about the games you list and more importantly why you felt compelled to finish them, whether it be achievements, getting your money's worth, nostalgia, or something else.

"Dead Space" also didn't impress me as much as everyone else, and I still finished it.  I hope I enjoy the sequel more, since I predict I will finish it regardless, too.

I see a lot of reminders here.  "GTAIV", "Prototype" (I, like everyone else, am asking myself why it's getting a sequel), "No More Heroes" (I enjoyed the boss battles, but the rest of the game was very boring), and the first "Assassin's Creed" (although I loved the sequel and look forward to playing "Brotherhood") are on my list.

I apologize if a similar topic has already been discussed, but I was talking with several coworkers and we began talking about games we actively disliked that we felt compelled to finish, even if they weren't fun.  For me, the two games that immediately came to mind were "Metroid: Other M" and "Epic Mickey", but there have definitely been others.  I wonder how many people are in similar situations.
