NHL 09 Online League I have been following the release and new features of NHL 09, and I cannot wait to see how this online league (new MMO feature) will turn out for the this years game. Now im sure a lot of you dont like hockey and prefer baseball or basketball, and to each his own as those are good sports, but I am Canadian and I love my hockey it definetely is a very exciting sport to watch, a maybe just a little faster paced than some sports *cough* baseball *cough*. Anywhoo the new NHL 09 has a MMO mode which may even get all those WOW players to play sport (im just joking I know that will never happen).

It got me pumped to play it, sounds like its the closest thing to the real thing with actual players each playing their own position and creating teams that compete for a online trophy given out at the end of the year. So now after reading that I want to put a team together, and I just want to see if this is someting ppl would want to be in or if I am the only one thinking it would be the best sports sim ever. Anyway leave your comments and thoughts on it, and also if you are thinking about getting this game or it sound good drop me a line and we can work on getting a team together.
Since it just was the X Games....this is appropriate So if you didnt see there are now details and a trailer out for skate 2! this is great news as its been forever getting any details on it....and damn it looks good. I really just hope that it doesnt get out of control with the trick and grind variations like the tony hawk games did. But by far my most anticipated game, even if it is coming out in 2009 
I cant wait to waste hours and hours of my life with this game.....
On another boarding game note, the new shaun white snowboarding game is coming out and the first trailer was released....now normally I would be wayyy more excited for a snowboard game (I die for the real thing) but for this one not so much.....I mean I will probably still buy it, but the E3 footage and trailer looks alright, but nothing mind blowing. Also the jibs (grinds) look pretty weak, they look like crappy boardslides. Add into the mix that I dont really like Shaun White and you can see where Im coming from. ON the positive game sounds like its pretty cool with avalanches that are started by you and wide open mountain with not just fake ppl on the mountain but actual people from xbl. It will be fun im sure, but I dont think it will be even close to as sweet as Skate 2 will be.
Speaking of the X games stuff did anyone watch that? there was some pretty wild stuff go down......danny way is the man btw and so are the bmx guys on the mega ramp....soo wild what these sports have become...and skate street was pretty sick too...too bad sheckler had to win. he is such a whiney baby, if only his mtv show had more of him doing sick tricks and less mtv drama about him not being able to get a girlfriend...gimme a break you spoiled brat, ya right its tough getting a girl when you are a millionaire before 20 and also a pro skater.
thats it thats all for now, take it eash and comment if you will.....and if you have never played the first skate i would highly recommend it and would also recommend stepping on a real skateboard sometime as this game is the next best thing without the injuries haha...i also recommend snowboarding, but i dont think shaun whites game will have anything on the physics and realism that skate has

Went to see the Step Brothers movie (Will Ferrell and other dude) with my gf and I was skeptical walking into the theatre due to the recent films that Will Ferrell has starred in. I was pleasantly suprised at how damn funny it was, and quite ridiculous of course. I was suprised at how much swearing there was in the movie (im not complaining) and even tho the plot wasnt great, the many funny parts in the movie make the plot not really matter at all. I definetley recommend it, its no dark knight but its definetely worth checking out.....maybe there is hope for Ferrell after semi pro.
Ive also been playing a lot of GRAW 2 online lately, and after getting completely owned for the first couple tries, I am getting the hang of the way online goes in this game (so many different ways to play) and how much people snipe. Its the most stragetic online game I have ever played, and I guess I shouldnt be suprised due to the game. Ive really only played team games, but in this game team communication is needed if you want to survive or do even remotely well. Does anyone else play online? If so add me to the friends list and we will do it up.
Final note is about N+, a great and very very addictive game. I love this platformer fun game, worth the 800 MS points or whatever it is. I have played a bit of co op with a buddy, but mostly jsut played single player. I dont know if I will be able to make it to episode 30, im on episode 24 now and its friggin ridiculously hard. What is the farthest episode you have reached? Just wondering to see if I suck or if its as hard as I think it is haha.
