@NinjaHunter: True, they do kick ass; but he was back to being regular whiney Raiden by the end... either way I'm all for more Metal Gear, just hope they manage to get David Hayter in it somehow.
@xobballox: Because this isn't a PSP2, it's still going to be playing regular PSP games, this having 2 analogue sticks splits the market; you'll have to wait for PSP2 for another analogue stick.
Yep, I'll be with the majority of people here; this sure is ugly... but at least it's signaling the death of the UMD, so hopefully decent load times are in the PSPs future. Now they say they'll continue to sell the PSP3000... I highly doubt they'll be continuing to manufacture them, if you want a PSP and aren't digging this I'd get a 3000 now, while you still can.
And yes, I did have to open iTunes to remember all of those. Also it's not strictly gaming but I'd like to mention HijiNKS Ensue and their hilarious geek themed podcast.
No, I didn't notice; I stopped visiting that site a long time ago, and now I don't need to ever again; still listen to The HotSpot though, but it's not Bombcast.
