I'm curious what the new loyalty program will entail.

Hey, Australia, it's not the Victorian Era. Adults should be allowed to buy what they want. Also, IT'S A FUCKING VIDEO GAME. If you don't like it, don't buy it.

Long story short, I've owned more than one Wii U and 3DS. My first Wii U was stolen, my second one I gave to my niece (I then bought another one for myself last month). For my 3DS, I upgrade from a regular to the XL I have now. The issue is I bought digital games on all of them, and didn't realize that I couldn't transfer system stuff. In addition, I have three Club Nintendo accounts because I thought only one can be linked to each Wii U system (three Wii Us, three accounts). Thankfully my current 3DS and Wii U are all on the same Club Nintendo account AND Nintendo Network ID, but I want to get the licenses from the systems I used to own so I can play those games again and don't have to repurchase them.

Help? Would calling Nintendo be useless? I know part of this is my fault because I'm an idiot and didn't do research, but I assumed that it's like the 360, PS3, etc and it's locked to your account and not the hardware itself.

I just ordered the Monster Hunter edition. A fool and his money, I guess.

Yuuuuuup. I've already ordered that one. I'm sorta glad that I was too slow on getting the Majora's Mask one, since I hear it doesn't even come with the game. WTF Nintendo.

Awesome, thanks for the response. My only remaining question is...

I had a 3DS before I bought my XL that I bought games on, BUT I did not do a system transfer for them because I didn't know it existed. However, I have them registered to one of my Club Nintendo accounts. Is there a way I can get those licenses on my New 3DS, or am I screwed because I no longer have the console? Maybe Nintendo can look at my account and see that they're mine?

This may be a dumb question, but I've honestly never tried it, so how does it work? I am getting a New 3DS (pre-ordered the Monster Hunter bundle on GameStop), but I don't want to lose my digitally bought games. I hear that they are locked to the system, so is there a transfer option already available that I'm oblivious to?

Thanks in advance. The new consoles are out next month.

@bisonhero: Seventy five bucks is still a lot cheaper than a than a new 3DS.

I want it for more than just Xenoblade, but it's still a nice enabler reason. The game itself will be cheaper than the Wii version, be "enhanced", and portable.

And again, new console. I could sell my 3DS XL to offset the price.
