" Some of you have said you are wondering how serious it really is. Per the NEI:
According to the International Atomic Energy Agency’s seven-level International Nuclear and Radiological Event Scale (INES), the accident at Fukushima Daiichi is a Level 4 accident. INES defines Level 4 as an “Accident With Local Consequences,” which is lower than the Level 5 rating given to the 1979 Three Mile Island accident in Pennsylvania. The major accident at Chernobyl in 1986 was classified at the highest INES rating of 7.
UPDATE: As of this morning, it appears to have been informally upgraded to a 6 (second worst after Chernobyl).
" I recommend looking up how to properly duel before playing. That part's kinda hard to grasp when it's presented so quickly. Other than that, have fun! "
I think they are both great hosts though Ryan does seem to have a knack for it.
One thing I've noticed is that sound mixing is really bad when Jeff does it. There are a lot of HIGHS and LOWS. Jeff has a way of talking really loud when he starts saying something and then gradually gets quieter as he goes on. Yesterday when I was coming home from work I got on the highway and had to turn up the volume to hear what they were saying. All of the sudden they all got loud and it scared the living shit out of me. I was so pissed off for a second, cursing the guys for giving me a heart attack. Haha.
I don't know what Ryan does to make the whole podcast easy to hear, but I wish it was done when he wasn't around.
What has happened to Square reminds me of what has happened to Rare. I don't think we'll ever see them return to what they once were. It's extremely difficult to replace that kind of talent.
I'm beginning to think that it would. I've noticed that I am stressing over games more now when I focus too much on collecting achievements rather than enjoying the game.
For example, I recently finished up Alan Wake and thought about playing through it again to collect all of the items and finish up the other difficulties. Then I began contemplating picking up the DLC for the rest of the DLC. Thankfully I decided against it, because why bother with all of that if I didn't really enjoy the game in the first place?
In addition to stressing me out, I think achievement hunting is partially responsible for the pile of games I haven't even opened yet. I'll spend so many hours trying to collect achievements, burning myself out in the process, rather than getting my fill of a game and moving on to the next one.
