  • Depends. For me, I only have wireless in my apartment, so built in wifi in the PS3 was a huge plus. Also, I watch a ton of movies so the BluRay was a huge selling point for me too. For me, things like Halo and Gears I have fun playing locally with friends, which I can do at one of like 5 friend's houses who have the thing, and the ...

I really dug the first game, in spite of some of the stuff that was wrong with it, so I'm super stoked for this game. It's nire to have something that I can play that's new since I can't seem to get into MW2.

  • walkingcarpet replied to the topic Convince me to buy Windows 7 ! in the PC board.
I upgraded to Windows 7 and I really like it over Vista so far. There aren't huge improvements over Vista itself, but there are enough little things that it was completely worth it in my opinion.   Faster startup, shutdown, sleep and wake. Faster running within the OS itself. I could copy and move files way faster than I could before. Also, the new taskbar interface is pretty awesome. And there are ...

  • It's kind of simple really, and I'm going to apologize in advance if this is something already mentioned, but games companies simply want to make games that will sell, and a lot.  Ever since the advent of Halo and now more recently MW, people are obviously way into shooters, and as such, these companies are going to make shooters.  Same thing is happening with music games. People are into music ...

  • Rewatched Across the Universe the other day. As a movie... I like it, but it's a bit on the weird side for me, which is ironic because the weird ass Abbey Road stuff is my favorite out of the Beatles catalog. However, the music in this film is fucking epic, and rewatching it made me remember why I even bought it in the first place.   Excellent to put on while ...

  • @Raven_Sword: I'm guessing that IE is just being broken. I used to prefer IE to FF, but it got to the point where it was so broken I couldn't use it anymore.    I suggest making the switch to FF and getting the IE Tab add on if you're using IE because certain sites require it or something.

  • To me Gatorade tastes... well bed. Like watered down juice or something, I don't know, but I'm not a fan. If I'm thirsty I drink water. What can I say, I'm old school.   And I can sit down and drink that much water in a couple minutes I pretty sure.

Abbey Road, hands down. I don't really know much off of Rubber Soul, but I keep hearing a lot of good things about it.... I think I'mma have to go buy it.

  • The only time I ever watch unboxing videos is for special editions of games, and only sometimes. Has to be a game that I'm on the fence about buying the special edition. It's nice to get a good look at what all is in the box.  Oh, and unboxing videos for handheld systems, like the DSi or the PSP. I like to see how they actually look under normal, non ...

  • walkingcarpet replied to the topic PS3 Trophies
Well that explains why my trophies weren't showing up on my profile... Oh well. If I was that worried about achievement type thingys, I probably wouldn't have bought a PS3.  EDIT: Or is it spelled "thingies"? I'm never quite sure.

  • I think that Brutal Legend looks absolutely awesome and I completely intend to buy it... at some point. The GOTY edition of Fallout 3 also comes out on that day, and as a PS3 owner, I've been waiting for the GOTY edition to buy it. I want all my extra content on one disc.   But I will buy Brutal Legend and I will buy it new, just probably some time ...
