@skullpanda1: Yea that is the exactly the one I saw earlier this month! I know it is just incredibly dumb, but I don't mind it because it is so awesome at the same time.

I am a lover of the Christmas festive stuff so I already have lights on the gutters, an inflatable snowman, santa, and reindeer out in front. Lights around the entrance of my house as well as garland on the stair rails. As for inside, the tree is decorated and I have some Christmas decorations laid about on the foyer furniture. Lastly, I got a light projector for outside.

I would do more, but I am already tight on cash with the new lights that I bought this year and of course, gift buying doesn't help with it. Hopefully next year though, I want to go bigger and buy the Christmas style inflatable dragon I saw at home depo.

@quipido: Alrighty, I will bite as to why I didn't like Reys origins story. I don't know if you watched The Force Awaken, but it had Rey dealing with the fact that her parents had deserted her at some backwater desert planet. Leaving her completely isolated and having mixed feelings on confronting her past. Leaving her potentially exposed to the dark side and you can see this in The Last Jedi as she wants to know her parents, using whatever power it takes to find them (the black hole while she is mediating with Luke).

The Last Jedi has Kylo stating that her parents were low life people, sold her for some fuel and water, and that she should forget the past. She believes him and moves on with her life. That is where I have a problem with Rey's origin. You don't see the meditation that Rey needed to overcome the past. She simply does it. It counteracts what has been set up from the previous film and at that point.

I believe people are fine with Rey not being related to any random powerful Sith/Jedi user. I wasn't expecting Rey to be a daughter of some Jedi master at all. I do believe people are upset that Rey backstory has no real payoff.

I hope that was sufficient as to why there is a pushback to Reys origins. I just wanted to clarify on my perspective as to why I have many issues with the movie itself

I haven't laughed at a Star Wars film since the prequels. I went to see a late showing at my movie theater and there was maybe 15 people tops so I was ready to see if they improve on the Star Wars universe. With my overpriced popcorn and soda, I was nestled into watching the movie!

What we got though was some ham fisted jokes at terrible times, Carrie Fisher flying through the dead of space like she is fucking Superman, a potentially great villain killed off with no real reason, and some of the slowest parts of a star wars movie I have witnessed since Episode I.

At the end of the day, it looks, sounds, and has characters of a Star Wars movie, but it certainly doesn't have the heart of one.

Outside of the dumpster fire that is Episodes I, II, and III, I found that Rouge One to be quiet middle of the road. It essentially gives us a backstory for an event that didn't need a backstory and characters that were less interesting than that sad Christmas fruitcake that everyone ignores at dinner.

I am really hoping that The Last Jedi isn't a rehash of Episode V. It was really my biggest problem with TFA and how it was beat for beat, Episode IV remake.

Edited: Just made silly grammar mistakes.

@nutter: I will check it out later if they intend on fixing their game, maybe give it another 2 or 3 expansions before I commit to it.

I was pretty excited at the time when destiny 2 launched, but didn't end up buying it since my friends wanted to mess around in pubg. Man, I am super happy that I dodged a bullet there.

I made it to lvl 24 and just stopped there. As a huge AC fan, the pocket edition was a let down because it falls into the tropes of every mobile game out there. The only thing that came out of there is the new penguin bros though!
