Consoles I have owned or still own

I've been a gamer all my life. Ever since I was big enough to reach the keyboard, I've been playing games. It should have been apparent to me and my parents back then that I would eventually become a game designer. It took me 21 years but that is finally what I am right now.

List items

  • My favorite, plus I worked on a game that was released on Xbox Live Arcade: Rocket Riot!

  • I enjoyed the hell out of this console and this is actually the first console I bought myself since the Super Nintendo (after a long period of PC-only gaming)

  • Recently got one of these. Haven't played too many games on it yet but I am not as impressed by the PS3 as I (still) am with the Xbox 360

  • When me and my girlfriend moved in together, she brought her PS2 with her :)

  • My fondest childhood memories are often related to this device. This console is what really fueled my gaming habits to the next level.

  • Bought one on release day, played with it for a while but ultimately it's not for me. I still have it but it's mostly gathering dust.

  • Bought well after its initial release for one purpose: Resident Evil 4. Which is why I have a limited edition RE4 Gamecube

  • Probably my favorite console ever after the Xbox 360. I remember saving for months to buy Megaman X and playing the hell out of that game!

  • Had it for a while when I had to travel to school by train a lot. Enjoyed it but once I moved closer to school I hardly used it and sold it to my niece.

  • My favorite companion for those long trips when my parents would take us to France on holiday

  • Bought this one on holiday in France because it had been raining for 3 days straight and there was nothing to do but sit in the tent

  • Piece of crap

  • The Atari seems limited right now but back then it was awesome!

  • The Commodore had some pretty awesome games back in its day

  • Recently bought one of these at a flea market. Haven't hooked it up yet, but it's cool to have.

  • This was the console that started it all for me...
