Hello World!

Random Tidbit from Wikipedia:

"A "Hello world" program is a computer program that prints out "Hello world" on a display device. Because it is typically one of the simplest programs possible in most programming languages, it is by tradition often used to illustrate to beginners the most basic syntax of a programming language, or to verify that a language or system is operating correctly."

As I'm about to embark on two entirely new & alien learning experiences (two things I've been wanting to try my hand at for a long time coming, as primarily an analog artist interested in diving into the whacky world of video-game development/digital media), computer programming and blogging, I felt this would be a rather fitting first entry. So there's that.
