I didn't know it till afterwards but I needed this. Just hearing the guys celebrating his life brought a smile to my face and stopped the tears. We can all take something from the way Ryan lived and use it to make us all better human beings.
My mother was familiar with the bomb crew, she especially liked Ryan. When I told her what happened, she hugged me and said she was so sorry that I lost my friend. That meant a lot, I may not have knew him personally...but I spent enough time with him weekly to feel like he was my friend, and to have someone else notice that meant a lot.
I'm amazed they are pulling together to put at least a small podcast together. I think I will wait till I'm alone before I listen, I foresee a lot of crying again. Thank you Jeff, Vinny, Patrick, Matt, Alexis, Drew, Alex, and most of all the spirit of Ryan for keeping us all together.
Really sad stuff, wish the best to all the employees in their future endeavors, they all seem to be very talented people if Reckoning was any indication.
