Have a PS4 reserved on Amazon. Might switch to an Xbox One for Forza though. Not sure yet, I still have five months.

I put most of my time into games before Steam logged hours, so I have well over 2K hours in 1.6 and probably a little less than that in Source.

I feel this is entirely justified, good dedicated servers won't come cheap. I could see qualms if most of the servers are actually run by consumers, like most PC games, but they aren't. That or maybe p2p games. You can't have good servers, with good throughput, without getting SOME kind of revenue in return.
