FINISHED THE GAME LAST NIGHT! That game is about 4 boss fights away from being one of my all time fav games. Anyway, I had no augs for the third boss fight (stupid updated chip) so I took in some gas grenades and a GOD DAMN ROCKET LAUNCHER. That did the job after he sucked on two (or three) rockets.

I can't believe this is actually coming out. I only replayed through Half Life recently, but am quietly optimistic about this. I've been listening to the music samples from the media page for years!

Waiting for Trent Reznor to let us have the new How to Destroy Angels album, then maybe some new NIN stuff? Hell, I'd kill for another film soundtrack at this point!

I don't think it's the best looking editor any more but I think it's probably the easiest to get to grips with and I personally love the half life style of game-play, so it fits perfectly in with how I want my maps to play. If you can start something that you end up getting really into, then it is just a joy to work with (except all the hl2.exe has stopped responding BS).

Yes, I see the irony on posting this up on a Sunday.

So it turns out that I might enjoy making video games. Who knew!? Well, apparently the family has known this for quite some time and have been telling me so for a while now, but I have no recollection of this whatsoever. Anyway, moving on. I am making a Church! Just a little project that I have going on in Hammer in the SDK. Just more me getting to grips with the art of video game design and just kind of forcing myself to think with a designers head. Why this and that and such. It’s good fun. I’ve been keeping a picture diary via the tweeter and thought that I had come far enough (see. 2 weeks) to finally post my progress on something that other, regular human beings visit. Take a gander and tell me what you think. Below are some pictures showing the evolution of the design of the church.

I’ve also done some progress videos that are more aimed at friends than for complete strangers, so the quality is super low. However if you feel like listening to me while walking around a WIP map, feel free to give it a click and give me your thoughts. I really am looking for constant feedback to give me new directions to go in and you duders are pretty awesome. Of all the communities on the internet, I reckon Id trust you guys the most to push me in different and appropriate directions (and I've been all over the internet).

Urm, yeah. So stay tuned for next Sunday, hopefully I will have a sermon ready for you guys while showing off another weeks worth of progress. Thanks to everyone who posted in the "Church Levels in YOUR video games" thread and thanks to you if you read all this junk.

Both. Or none. Or maybe both. Or maybe just one. This doesn't help at all, does it? Hmmm, I like QTE synchronized dancing, so....

Vinny is obviously the right answer. He has a wife and kid and it would be cruel to leave all of them out in the cold. Also, we would have so much fucking fun.

The right of the writer: Thou shalt write and thou shalt rewrite. Writers write. If you write you are a writer. That's my philosophy. There really isn't much we can do except look over your current work and offer critique. It's up to you and only you if you want to label yourself a writer (and frankly I'm a little tired of people who do and don't write that much OR say they wan't to be a writer but *insert reason here*) Like said, just write and no one can say you're not a writer.

Sorry for that rant, just had to get that off my chest. Good luck with your writing :)

I don't care if it's not real Molydeux (or the real fake Molyneux, or whatever), I still read it with Peters voice and enjoyed it. Also, I'm calling the "spin your kettle 180 degrees to get into the dungeon" game mechanic for the next Molyjam!

BUT WHAT ABOUT YOUR BALLS, PETER? TELL US OF THE BALLS!

If the Kinect picks up that you are missing one or both your balls, its going to impact your in game experiences intrinsically! Basically, the Kinect is going to try its hardest to take your balls from you and its up to you to survive this magnificent world while keeping your balls safe.
