To some extent it would depend on what constitutes 'active', but I think think if sticking to a baseline of posting in them within a max of 3 or 4 days, currently it hovers around 7. Half are Twitch channels I mod in, the others are a mix of longtime friends or music related. Within those, the range of active users would be around 5 to 50. I do also have the Discords I'm joined to categorized into folders, and that categorization is largely based upon frequency of use (e.g. I have servers I'm only in as a nicety, some for the emotes, some that I read from but don't post in, etc.).
Definitely varies year-to-year. Last year I was probably in the 20s, I finished ~6 games. This year I've had way more time/energy without a commute and everything (working from home), so I've been playing way more. Also taken advantage of Game Pass, EA Access, etc. As of today, I've finished 27 games, and probably played something in the 40s.
FantasyGP is live again for this year! Hoping to see people both old and new! If you already joined last year, you just have to log into your account and you're still in the ALT+F1 Memorial League. If you're new, use the invite code 382180 to join at www.fantasygp.com.
Yup! Like a bunch of others, I bought some in Overwatch, wanted the D.Va Summer Olympics skin in 2016. I'd been playing a bunch, so I put $50 in, and completely regretted it. Not only did I not get the reasonably common skin I wanted after $50, but I didn't even keep playing the game for much longer afterwards. It honestly soured me on Overwatch a whole lot.
The other case has been the occasional crate in Star Wars: The Old Republic, but most of those I purchased with Cartel Coins gained simply by being subscribed. I think I only bought 1 or 2 boxes outside of the monthly allocation. In that case, I was totally fine with it.
I would really prefer to just buy the thing I want. I'd be quite content to see them disappear, whether through legislative or other means (hopefully the latter).
I like my Xbox, but I haven't felt slighted yet by having a regular PS4 instead of the Pro, so I can't see myself getting this. I'm more likely to spend the money on bumping up my PC specs and playing the 'play anywhere' titles there instead. As long as games continue to run as they should (e.g. constant 60 in Forza 7), then I'm okay having slightly worse graphics.
The first video I saw on the site was the Bad Company 2 Beta QL, but the first one that got me into watching the site regularly was the Tournament of Legends QL:

The first premium video I assume was the first Happy Hour? I subscribed because of the first Big Live Live Show Live!
