For those Playstation Move owners out there, was it a worthwhile purchase to get the navigation controller? I know it can basically be replaced with a Dualshock 3 controller in the same hand, but from a comfort perspective is there a real benefit to the purchase?
Also, are there any games out there that really benefit from the use of a navigation controller at all?
Get a med kit asap and equip it, as it will let you revive your teammates. You'll get a lot of XP for doing it, and it'll keep your team in the fight. Also, keep an eye out for what your commander has flagged as a target for you to deal with (upper left corner of screen). Going off solo will sometimes tick some squad commanders off.
" I simply gave up on MAG. The lack of communication in that game is still staggering. Most of the people in my clan simply gave up or moved on and I am talking about people that were a part of MAG since the early beta days. "
It definitely is a much more enjoyable game if teams coordinate well. However it's not totally required to have microphones, with the FRAGO system providing most people with distinct targets to focus on. Most of the time I've never needed a microphone to play well with my squad.
Picked up that bundle the other day. Escalation is a ton of fun. Interdiction still has very very few players messing with it, which is somewhat disappointing since it's a lot of chaotic fun.
Haven't tried it yet, but several people I've heard from have and really enjoyed the controls with Move. Sounds like there's some tweaking you'll have to do (which MAG lets you customize fully, like deadzones, etc) but afterwards it's supposed to be an extremely capable method of controlling the game.
