I played the PC version, which was released in 2009. And I totally loved it. It's an incredible experience. One I won't forget soon. From its design to its mechanics, it's a game that does make an impression few can match. The time manipulations are extremely well done and the puzzles are clever and challenging. And the ending leaves anyone astonished. Brilliant.

2009 PS2 release in Europe, so it counts. And I haven't finished it. But, I am loving every second of it. The story, the dungeons, the artistic design, the characters, the sound design and everything else. Along with Braid, it will live in my heart for years to come. A shout to the Endurance Run: if it wasn't for it, then this would pass me by. Persona 3 FES is next.

Well, it's the 2009 obvious choice. And it's obvious because it's a hell of a game. From the campaign to the Spec Ops it's an action packed experience, unmatched this year. The only thing Modern Warfare 2 doesn't succeed is to have the same impact that Call of Duty 4 had. But, that was to be expected, I guess. Oh! and dedicate servers :)

Haven't enjoyed a Mario game like this one in years. Tremendous fun.

I'm pretty sure if I had finished this one it would go further up the list. You know what? I am going to do that right now. But, for now is looking to be an excellent game. Great story and great gameplay. An amazing RPG.

Superbly done. Very good in all aspects. Very well polished. Raises the bar for every console action game. And I haven't finished the game. Not owning a ps3 is kinda in the way of me finishing it. Which then reminds me the load of 2008 games I played this year. And I can't include them here. Even the ones released in late December. I'll just include here some of them (all PC versions): Assassin's Creed; GTA IV; Dead Space; Bully: Scholarship Edition; Mass Effect; Call of Duty 4 and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. (these 2 aren't 2008 games, but whatever); Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 and many more.

2009 PC release. Incredible atmosphere. Great story. Serious and fun. An excellent fallout game in every way.
