I've been somewhat skeptical about Valve's multiplayer support on Xbox360 since they released TF2 with the Orange Box last year. I have seen plenty of updates on the PC, but they have yet to produce an update for consoles. Don't get me wrong, I love TF2, but there's only so many times you can play CP on Dustbowl before you start to wonder where the new maps / game modes are. Now with the release of Left 4 Dead, and Valve's statement that they will be focusing on support for that game exclusively, we won't see another update for TF2 (at least on PC) until next year.

As for Left 4 Dead, my PC rig can't handle it and I don't have the cash to upgrade any time soon. So that kind of leaves me in a bind. I absolutly dig the concept of a zombie apocalypse survival game. I've watched the gameplay videos on this site, and the intro movie on Xbox Live, and I've been completely blown away. The game looks great, and I'm sure it will be lots of fun to play. However, I can't help but look back at TF2, another great online MP game that I had fun with for a long time, but has been collecting dust b/c of the limited number of maps / game types.

I can't help but look at Left 4 Dead and ask, "Will there ever be any new content released for it on consoles in the future? Or will it get left behind in the wake of Valve's next big game?"

Only time will tell I guess. For now. . . . . .BRING ON THE ZOMBIES!
