I read about it and the only lukewarm takes he had were about the recent Gillette commercial that bewildered him (?) which made him angry (???) and he doesn't use Twitter as much because he has to watch what he says now. Not necessarily in an older, more responsible way, but in a paranoid way.
Giantbomb's staff constantly have the same conversations over and over without any of them noticing since 2008. The job's gotta be one big blur for them.
The neat thing about AEW now is hopefully new people like MJF and Janela can appear on BTE since the channel had gotten kind of stale save for the time around All In.
Great list, still need to see most of the films from the last four months of 2018 (RIP Moviepass). My top 3 (atm) would be MI: Fallout, Thoroughbreds, and Blindspotting.
They've been podcasting a lot more lately than they have in the past, too. I appreciate the new format this year, but it was a slog to get through by Day 2, much like last year (25 hours or so total). The Holiday Specialtacular videos have been hit or miss, as well. Wearing the same fake sweaters as last time doesn't help either, I guess.
I think most people understand edited content takes time, but it was something to look forward to as a fan every year. Now it's feels like twice as much content but maybe not as remarkable as before. It is what it is, though; not much anyone can do.
