Patrick, as someone who was extremely skeptical of you when you first started working at Giant Bomb. I have to say I am extremely saddened to hear this news. I still remember when you first joined the crew and just thought of you as the newcomer who still had to prove his worth and as someone who could never fit in with what Giant Bomb was all about. But over the past few years you have gone above and beyond and have shown everybody just exactly what you can bring to the table. The dedication, content, and especially your unique perspective-taking you provided have all been invaluable into making Giant Bomb what it is today. Best of luck, Patrick, you will be sorely missed.

Wow, this is something that I previously thought was unfathomable. The death of Ryan Davis is such a huge, shocking blow to not only the Giant Bomb community but to the video gaming community in general. It's gonna be hard to imagine how the Giant Bomb crew will carry on without him. Regardless, we have tragically lost a great man in Ryan Davis, may he rest in peace.
I'm a huge fan of the Ratchet & Clank games (well, mostly the ones on PS2), but I don't know if I really need to see a movie about them. I'm actually surprised to see that people are excited about this idea.
Giant Bomb, I love you and all that, but considering Mortal Kombat for best story? What the fuck?
I've been playing with Skyrim installed before I even knew about the texture issues and I've been getting along just fine. It's not that big of a deal.
Unlike what seems to be the majority, I've enjoyed every single GTA game, so I'm excited for GTAV. The "bad guy trying to turn over a new leaf" angle is a bit played out, but who knows? They might give the character some sort of twist. And there's that rumor about multiple protagonists that might give the series the fresh feel it needs. In my opinion, Rockstar has done a stellar with each of its titles.
