Man, that's really lame. Especially with such a badass name like Wolverine. I'd suggest PM-ing someone who works at ComicVine.

You could try PMing someone, but I doubt they'd change anything for you. They really shouldn't take away people's usernames, whether they use the account or not. First come first served.

Some jackhole donkey-fucker took Napalm at Comic Vine as well. I'm glad I'm not the only one who has this problem. I see somebody hasn't used the Napalm name in like, two years, and the last activity was in 2010, completing a quest or two.

Best thing you could do is probably PM Snide although I'm not sure he is willing or even able to delete accounts.

If all else fails, be _Wolverine if you can use underscores.  I think you can.

I have a better solution.  Don't go to comicvine.

you could be cvWolvine  ie comic vine wolverine or do the pm thing but i seriously doubt they will take action

I desperately want to be able to have the same username on ComicVIne, but sadly, it is already taken. The thing is that the person who made the account never used it at all. A long time ago on Comicvine someone had the same issue as you, but the mods basically said "Nah, suck it up" and they just ended up putting underscores around the name since they're hardly noticeable. Maybe the times have-a changed, though. Been a long time since I posted on CV.

I'd love to have the possibility to change your username in WM sites, at least once. I'm JoeyRavn here, Joey Ravn in Comic Vine (not that I go there anymore, thanks Sara) and joey_ravn in Tested (because I was so dumb as to create an account from my subscriptions page instead of creating one myself and then linking it).
