New XCOM looks great from everything Ive seen, cant wait to play the full version, sorry you don't like it I guess? I know, just go play that old, kinda not playable anymore game!

hmm, I didn't seem to have any issues using the mouse and keyboard like other people but I also played with the controller and I will probably use that when I'm hooked into the big TV and M+K for the monitor. As for the content, it was great, gave you a basic understanding of the game mechanics during actual missions and in the base view. I also like they kept the whole globe thing and you have to send ships to intercept UFOs and you see your jets move over the world as time passes. Very X-Com but in the Firaxis way of refining some of the more archaic systems from the old games and making them more fun.

cant't wait for release. I noticed some people with complaints which is fine but I don't know. these kind of games just don't get made that much and never with this level of production values and from the streams I've seen the team (especially Garth and Jake) are super passionate about what they have made and that's awesome.

Of course there is going to be QL of this, but the game doesn't come out for 2 weeks.

well, this game is set something like 16 weeks after Alien 3 I believe.As for the thing being basically nuked... its a video game?

Then you made a mistake in getting the ps3 version (unless thats your only choice), 360 version is spotless from my own experience.

@Little_Socrates: hmm, you say fuck Dragons Dogma but that game is a pretty significant risk for Capcom and for them it is a pretty unconvential game, an open world RPG with DMC-like combat, Day and Night cycles which incorporate Resident Evil-like atmosphere at night and a strange, potentially interesting online social system. On top of that its the most expensive game they have ever made with a massive amount of people working on it.

Not saying you shouldnt boycott Capcom for their ridiculous practices but Asuras Wrath was awesome, the DLC was mind-blowing and beautiful at times. In fact, Dragons Dogma and RE6 look to be Capcom bringing things that people want, at least in the West.
