This happened with my PS3, but when there's a loading screen. It happens for my PS4, but only on one of my TVs, for some reason. Doesn't always happen though.
I coincidentally started a Caestus dual wielder like 2 days ago and I must say, it's working way better than I expected. I think strike weapons in general do loads of damage on armored enemies this time around (what with different damage types having a little more impact as far as I can tell) but that could just be the scaling. I was originally planning on swapping to a Twinblade just 'cause they make you look like Darth Maul, but I +6ed that sucker and it's actually way worse than my 2 +1 caestus(es?). Like the OP said, the only real drawbacks are the super short range and no shield. Currently about to head into Sinner's Rise, not looking forward to that... best of luck duder.
I saw this guy and, being the complete dunce that I am, decided to fire a couple poison arrows at him from outside the doorway. Big mistake. I only found out later that you're supposed to talk to him to get the ashen mist heart, and can only hope he drops it upon death (I still haven't killed him). As a side note, I found the run up until the boss to be incredibly difficult, but that could just be me. I've resorted to running past the guys on the big steps leading up to the gate, but this only works some of the time.
@leebmx: Be forewarned, none of this will be spoiler tagged (mostly because I'm new here and don't know how!).
1: The only katanas I've found in my first run (at the place right after Dragon Aerie I believe, name isn't coming to me) were in the Iron Keep in the form of a Blacksteel Katana (A scaling in dex) and the Washing Pole, which I just found in a little side path in the area I'm currently in (I have yet to actually check this weapon out). However, I haven't explored this game thoroughly as of yet and I think i heard somewhere that the blacksmith in the Lost Bastille will give you an Uchigatana at some point.
2: I beat them with a Tower Greatshield and a Heide Knight sword +5ish. My strategy was to stay on the small platform that you start out on, take out the first sentinel, drop down and take out the other two by baiting both of their combos and getting a couple hits in on one of them. The NPC summon is also very useful in this fight (found in one of the cells nearby).
3: Apparently putting on the Traveling Merchant's hat and farming the dogs in the Lost Bastille is a good way, though I've never tried.
4: I've been saving them, I don't really know if they make weapons or what
I don't know if anyone mentioned this, but does anyone know if you choose the first method (the one where you have to blow up the ship) on Trevor's heist if you get any money? It seems like everyone did the other one with the submarine (unless they both involve submarines). Just curious.
I have cherries (I spent a long-ass time remaking my town until I did :))
Some other types of fruit would be nice (currently have cherries, durian, lemons and bananas). Honestly kinda bummed i didn't get lychee on the tropical island.
