What I'm playing at the moment.  Some more than others.

List items

  • Got this one during one of Games for Windows's March weekend sales, since I was building a gaming computer anyway. Thankfully, even without having a proper GPU yet, since I haven't yet decided on one yet, the onboard graphics can run it. Barely. And I just got a video card with PhysX, so I'm up to 1024x768 on high with PhysX on high. Saves the room on my 360's hard drive. I'll plan on doing this with more multiplatform games from now on.

Oh yeah, the game. I barely need to tell you the game's awesome. Get it.

  • Decided to get it from Games for Windows Live. Got it. It ran (or rather, walked) on my system. Looked up info on what video card to get (didn't get one while I was building the system, budget was tight and I couldn't decide on one, so just got a mobo with video on it) and heard that the game was rather poorly optimized for PC and that even with a potent video card, I'd probably still lag. Screw it, I'll just go to Best Buy and get a $100 card. Runs (better than walks) now. Not maxed out, but still looks good.

  • I'd been thinking of picking this up after hearing all the praise for it, but I was hesitant not knowing exactly how it played. After hearing all the glowing reviews of the sequel ("Shepherd",) I finally got it. Finished my second playthrough. I want to get all the biotic and electronic ability related Achievements before attempting completing the game at harder difficulties, as certain abilities are only available in classes dedicated to either electronics or biotics, and I want to start the harder games in new game plus mode. ("That's all for now." "Shepherd.") And, I wanna finish a game with the standard Shepherd, although I hate dude Shepherd's voice. (That's all for now...")

    ("Shepherd.")

  • Sounded like a cool concept. An NES-like game based on Dark Void. But, I don't have a Wii. Then, I saw it on Steam. For five bucks. With Achievements. 'nuff said.

  • The game that got me into Steam. Heard Brad talking about it on the podcast, but assumed that my crappy PC wouldn't run it. Then I saw it in a list of games to play on netbooks, checked the system requirements, tried the demo, and kicked myself for not getting it in the Steam sale over Christmas. Did finally end up catching it on sale, though. Liking it so far.

  • Remember Brad talking about it on the Bombcast, but my computer wouldn't run it. It'd trudge through the intro, but get to the game and only load the cursor and HUD elements. So, I built a computer that could run it with my tax refund. Caught it during a Steam sale, and I'm liking the game now.

  • Found this while looking through the games on Steam that have Achievements, tried the demo, liked it, and pondered getting it with the "AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! : A Reckless Disregard for Gravity" combo. Finally got the combo and am enjoying the game as much as my modest "rig" will allow. Chugs on some levels, but I'm trying to deal until I hopefully get a new system. The game is basically Katamari with the crazy Japanese humor replaced with a different crazy set of humor. Try it, like, and remember, when the end of the world comes, remember to duck and cover!

  • Love the name. Love the names of the achievements. Not so good at the game, but slowly getting the hang of it I suspect.

  • I like it. Slowly making my way through it. Achievements aren't flowing easily, but that's cool (still, Plants vs Zombies will probably be my next game.) Lovely game, bit hard, and the rot in the temple is still freakin me out, maaaaaan...

  • Just started the game over. Why? I don't know. Still love it, though. Disappointed with the car selection, though. Would've been nice to have the like of the 370Z and the GTR. And some of those Cadillacs I keep running into in the middle of races (I'm not an SUV fan, but just two available, and both are Rovers? Come on...)

  • Hey, it was free. And it has Achievements! Cute little game, really. Try it out.

  • Going back to bring up some of the Ds I have. Have been attempting Extra Mode 1, haven't completed it yet.

  • Five bucks. About sixty percent of that goes to charity. And on top of that, it's a very fine five dollar game.

  • Still haven't gotten the good ending. Got the bad ending, started a new game (forgot exactly what the game called it,) made it to the last week of October and was only maybe Rank 7 with Dojima, so I went back to a previous save in the game at about the first time you go into Yukiko's Castle after getting Chie in the group. As of this writing, it's a week before midterm exams and I'm passing the time before the next victim...

  • Still haven't made it through this yet, as other games have come and taken my attention from it. Having a bit of trouble progressing, so I find myself replaying earlier levels to get enough to buy healing items. Am waiting to finish the story mode before I attempt arcade mode.

  • Picked it up when it was on sale end of last year. Was actually a little harder to get into it than I expected. I'm making my way through i, trying to finish it and possibly eventually S-Rank it. Right now, just need the DLC Achievements.

  • Loved this on the Genesis, but never beat it. Now, I have this thing were I don't want to continue because of hearing somewhere along the line that true hardcore gamers never continue. I don't even call myself a true hardcore gamer, but I have difficulty bring myself to continue while I'm trying to earn the Achievements.

  • Actually, the 360 gets most of my attention, as it's the system that my "home theater" is usually set to, and since I have games that I don't physically have to get up and load games into. And it's the only one that I have wireless controllers for. This one is presently the only game I have for my Super NES, but as games go, it's not one to be the only option. As of late, I've developed a silly habit of trying to get through RPGs with little grinding and no buying items in shops, only using the ones I find in chests and/or from enemies, which is slowing my progress.
