@gokaired: Afraid I never got to play Xenoblade, heard nothing but amazing things about it.

It was a terrible corridor slog and it's made worse by the fact that on the PS2 we had some pretty amazing FFs in X, X-2 and XII (granted not everyone likes X-2). While all we've had on the PS3/360 has been XIII and XIII-2 which is slightly depressing, until you remember we at least got Ni No Kuni :D
Well considering £47 is the most I've had to pay for the games I'm getting on release this is a fucking joke. The day consoles go digital only will be the day I switch to just PC unless they sort out these insane prices.
@zekhariah: Well I think knowing what games he liked was good enough research to be honest as she had no idea what games where in the offer, which turned out to be Knack, AC4, Driveclub and Watchdogs... and we all know the state of those two last ones. But for the shop assistant to lie about what type of game Knack is really takes the piss. I mean I work in a shop myself and if I ever misinformed a customer I would get in serious trouble, plus we have this whole educating the staff so we can help our customers to make the best decisions for themselves.
I feel sorry for those who have no idea about video games but are having to make purchasing decisions for others. This is down to my sister who went to pre-order a PS4 for her boyfriend for Christmas the other day at our local Game, I had offered to go but was at work at the time. Anyway she knew what games he liked and told this to the shop assistant to which he recommended Knack as he described it as a cross between Fable and Minecraft, which are two of her boyfriends favourite games. He then tried to get her to pre-order a Xbox One instead as he told her that all the Japanese developers had signed exclusive deals with Microsoft to make JRPG's just for the Xbox. Luckily she just pre-ordered the PS4 with Knack and we where able to go into the store today and alter that to AC4. But man I can only imagine the sort of shit that gets told to unknowing customers just so these stores can make a sale.
Anybody ever have this happen to a family member or friend and had to step in to help them make the more informed decision? I suspect a few people in my town may be disappointed when they play the cross between Fable and Minecraft that is Knack.
If you fail a mission multiple times I think it gives you an option to skip it. Not sure how it works myself but after that your free to explore the city which will give you the chance to improve your driving.
