The new Vaudevillians shirt is great!

Are The Vaudevillains actually enjoyed by the greater NXT universe? I remember getting a kick out of their entrance when it was posted here after their official debut (I'm a Steampunk fan, though I consider myself a B+ cosplayer at best) but didn't really think much more after. It's mainly because I don't really watch too much of the Network content, though I do figure I need to watch Monday Night Wars.

After seeing in Takeover 2 that The Vaudevillains were the losing finalists in the #1 contender's tourney, is it safe to assume that its a sign that they are getting an actual chance for a push to stay in the light? I'm mainly thinking this shirt may end up being the first wrestling shirt I purchase especially because the design on the front doesn't outright say WWE (only hints for those in the know) and I think I can get away with it just looking like another "olde timey design" shirt when casual w/ my other Steampunkers. But I'm just worried if they are something that are being laughed at or if people are honestly enjoying their gimmick.

Maybe it is because I'm 8 months into returning to watching wrestling after 15 years and even then, I recognized and enjoyed it as "improv stuntwork/acrobatics" and I think what I've seen since I came back has kind of satisfied my desire to see a bunch of interesting spots. So yeah... here are my "well, I guess..." predictions for Summerslam:

Rob Van Dam vs. Cesaro - SummerSlam Kickoff Singles Match

  • Winner (2 pts): Cesaro
  • Method of victory (2 pts): Pin

Intercontinental Champion The Miz vs. Dolph Ziggler - Intercontinental Championship Match

  • Winner (2 pts): Ziggler
  • Method of victory (2 pts): Count out (Miz retains title)

Chris Jericho vs. Bray Wyatt - Singles Match with Erick Rowan and Luke Harper Banned at Ringside

  • Method of victory (2 pts): Pin

  • Method of victory (2 pts): Pin

Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins - Lumberjack Match

  • Winner (2 pts): Rollins
  • Method of victory (2 pts): Pin
  • Will the briefcase be put on the line? (2 pts): No

Roman Reigns vs. Randy Orton - Singles Match

  • Winner (2 pts): Reigns
  • Method of victory (2 pts): Pin

Brie Bella vs. Stephanie McMahon - Singles Match

  • Does Nikki turn on her sister? (2 pts): No

WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar - Singles Match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship

  • Winner (2 pts): Lesnar
  • Method of victory (2 pts): Pin
  • Does a No-DQ style stipulation get added? (2 pts): No
  • Does Seth Rollins Cash-in? (2 pts): No

I can't really seem to come up w/ Krazy™ Predictions that would happen during the PPV, so I'll just fill out my list with some ideas of things that I can see happen post Summerslam to at least get them in writing (even if they can't count towards earning a Krazy™ award). So... lets get Krazy™!!!

  • Johny Cage... I mean The Miz starts strong in the match controlling Ziggler for much of it, but then Ziggler manages to get in a good shot to The Miz's Money Maker and The Miz just decides to leave the ring and take a count-out.
  • Bad News Barrett, saying what everybody is thinking, delivers some #BadNews that nobody actually cares about The Miz, his Money Maker, or his acting career.
  • After Brock Lesnar wins the title, The Authority decide to keep the WWE World HW Champ title "special" and explicitly come out to say they are reversing their "Daniel Bryan Rule" that they used to strip him of the titles for not being available to defend it for 30 days. This means Brock can hold the title (and Paul Haymen carrying the belt on stage at RAW) but not have to show up to defend it until a few PPVs later (despite the next PPV being called "Night of Champions").

Man, that actually made me kind of depressed trying to think of a realistic set of results. Hopefully something Krazy™ will happen and I can find my smile again.

  1. Something happens to cause a top turnbuckle to break, leaving the top rope resting on the mat. This leads to Cesaro to Swing an opponent "over the top rope" for an elimination
  2. Heyman's Plan C is countered by Plan R-V-D <o> |o| <o> |o| <o>
  3. The Miz finds & puts on Cody Rhode's plastic mask back stage but then Stardust blows star glitter in his face & takes it back.

So... Repo-Girl gimmic back on the table? You can retcon her dance to be her practicing walking down the isles & stealing things off the shelves.

A couple years ago I learned of a candy combo from some people playing Ticket To Ride they called "S&Ms". It is literally just a bowl of regular Skittles and plain M&Ms. It makes for a good mix of chewy tangy fruity flavors with smooth sweet chocolate. Best eaten in small pinches at a time (3-5 pieces at a time) and not giant handfuls/mouthfuls.

We also did some small trials with different flavors of M&Ms and Skittles (like dark chocolate & tropical fruit Skittles) but regular plain S&Ms was best.

Damn, can't really think of two, let alone three, "plausible" Krazy Predictions™. I'll try to come up w/ a 2nd and then leave my "Golden Snitch" prediction that I know won't happen any time soon.

  1. MitB Briefcase holder will attempt to cash in tonight, only to find that the contract inside "fell out" earlier and Dean Ambrose managed to pick it up and is the true holder of the MitB Contract. "There is always a Plan B."
  2. Two men reach for the titles, each pulling one of the belts from the hook. Sets up for re-reunification match at Battleground (edit for more specificity: Orton & Reigns will be the two with each belt).
  3. Paul Heyman will get on the mic, but not talk about The One, The Undertaker, Mike Lient, or Brock Lesnar (only exception is he may talk about Mike Lient in respect to his work with Cesaro)

Also, are there 12 more jobber matches out there for Bo Dalas? I want to Bo-leave that he can go 21-Bo and then get even more vile.

I was more offended that his suit color made me keep initially thinking it was a Saint's Row game.

@ManMadeGod There was a line where someone on the announce table explaining the cage match premise at the start & how to win included something about an official can open the door if he deems it required. But yes, in that match it seemed like the automatic doors at the supermarket and they started opening it anytime someone got near it.

Did Ambrose break when Reigns said "No" or was that a character reaction?

(and if these press interviews get the reaction they want, they need to get flash bulbs to extra sell it even more at the next one)
