Forbidden Planet store.

A few years ago i walked past this store called forbidden planet and took a peek inside, i discovered it had a lot of comics and figures. I didnt take notice and walked away, but later i discovered it had a small manga section at the back of the store. At that particular time i had no interest in anime/manga and never went back to the store. Now that ive become a big fan, i wanted to start my collection but i had totally forgotten that the store existed.  This became a problem for me as the only way i could buy manga was online but dont really like that method.
So last week during my travels i found the store again and popped in remembering that the manga was at the back of the store. As soon as i walked in i turned my head and seen hunderds of books and on closer inspection they were all manga. The store had become mostly for anime/manga, i was in a dream land, all my favourite series were there. Until i was brought back to reality, i had no money :(

Meh anime.
That's cool that you've got a whole store, though. I love comic book stores

Was hoping this was gonna be about a store entirely devoted to the movie. I am disappointed.

If everyone did that there would be no new manga, as there was no profit to be made. "
I admit that i do read manga online but ive started to buy them now. I want the people who make the manga to continue to do so. "

I tend to prefer independent comic shops to chains Forbidden Planet always seems really impersonal to me + it's usually more expensive. As for manga, I wouldn't really know where's good for it, but there seems to be quite a lot in Waterstones (at least in the one in Carlisle).

A good store but pricey. There's a good bit of manga but most of it are western comic books. Not that I'm complaining. Acually that reminds me I need to read that copy League of Extraordinary Gentlmen later.

I hate Forbiddion Planet. My reason:

Was in gettin' some manga 1 day, they have this deal 3 for £15. I pick up 3 manga all 3 Priced at £3.75. So it should have come to £11.25. I goes up to the counter, and dude says "£15 please." I'm all
"hold up, these 3 are £3.75 each, I aint paying 15 when it should be £11.25." Then dude goes "sorry, its 3 for 15" So I walked out and I aint been in a FP store in 2 years now.
