I had DTV, it was ok. I had both the passive connection and the powered connection. The powered connection never lost the signal during thunderstorms, but the passive one did. I left DTV to get Uverse and they lost my order. No one ever showed up on the day they scheduled for installation - I even took the day off from work. I do have Uverse internet. After the argument I had with DTV to leave, there is no way I will go back. So I built my own TV antenna for 7.00, and attaching a computer to my tv, making a home entertainment system using Netflix and Hulu Plus - I find it hard to have cable/DTV/Uverse installed. New monthly bill is 16.00 per month, not the 138.00 I was paying. I have added DVR service to my computer using a TV Tuner card, but you have to be home to set that up, no app on your phone to record a show. I have a few favorite shows I miss, it has been an adjustment in my viewing habits. If I go back to paid service, it will be Uverse.
