Our Misspent Youth - Heavy Rain Review 3

It’s rare that a game totally delivers on its promises. It’s even more rare when a developer manages to live up to the claims they have made. When Quantic Dream announced their follow up to Indigo Prophecy (aka Fahrenheit), we heard wild claims of creating new and innovative ways of gaming. That they’d tell a story in a way never before seen in the industry. That they could make you feel, care and hope. That we’d be taken on a journey, as if we were watching a film. Well, after seeing Heavy Rain...

Improvements... Technically. 0

I've had this game since it came out, so this review is well and truly late coming, but it has been sitting here unfinished since about three weeks after the release, and it just felt wrong not to post it. Alas if you have read this far your probably in the right place.LBPis the second venture from the guys at Media Molecule, whom you may know from their previous titleRagdoll Kung Fu. A little kno...

Nobody Makes the First Jump, Except DICE that is. 0

Some hailed it as the next Assassin's Creed, writing it off as another victim of the hype machine, I on the other hand called it EA's kinky little bit on the side, and boy does she live up to her reputation. I recently purchased Mirror's Edge and let me tell you this was one of the best financial decisions I've made in a while, trust me, no where else can u get 7 hours alone with an asian gymnast for less than £40...except possibly communist China. Once the initial excitement stirred up when Dic...
