Any new follow-up for 2015 since this stuff is still going down. link to a newer article / commentary . . unless Nintendo tried to monetize the article as well.
Just to add, it's one of the reasons why I didn't re-up my premium account. Too random, and sometimes boring, I stopped watching it a few months back. I am glad others enjoy it, no hate. It just wasn't for me anymore, and my site usage dropped off as well.
Being tired of the Governor on the tv show doesn't put me in a ready to take on another calm whackjob in the video game. I like watching friends and/or podcasters play the series for their emotional reactions, but I've decided to stay away from playing the game after my run through broke on the 3rd episode first season and I didn't care for riding the rails. I understand they don't have the time and such for truly divergent branching, but sometimes, you just want to see a game say you killed the protagonist 5 minutes in, game over, try again . . or you choose saved someone fated to die for real.
I'm neither willing to trust, nor pay into the system that EA and Maxis made here with Simcity, they didn't just lose my trust, they threw it out and I'm not sure they can engineer that back.
Yeah, I'm one of those wait until about a year or so later to get the consoles, just so there's a library worth exploring, and the yellow, red failure points have been addressed. Good wishes to the pioneers, no matter your platform, hope you get your money's worth.
Still need a better promotion system than what was seen in the Xbox market, though some of the titles in there didn't present themselves as polished enough to warrant interest ~ a better peer review system to look at a listed titles and make an informed decision as to whether something is amateur crapware or an indie/self published gem.
